I really wanted to make a character just with hand painting techniques after watching the amazing Arcane Netflix show and seeing it's gorgeous art style. With the face and eyes I think I was pretty close! And with the hair I tried to use game ready techniques and use a set of hair cards that resembled brush strokes and at times feathers to reflect the bird-like transformation of this character in the concept.

I originally wanted to make the whole character but I've since needed to move on to other things and I thought It made for some cool head shots anyway!

This character in the renders only has its base colour hooked up and with some lighting, I really love the final outcome and that I got to have a try at a new style of character art out.
